Bologna-born, social-first

creative studio by Anca Dunavete

my hot take:

Creativity doesn’t exist to solve problems. That’s why you can’t just turn it into a product, slap on some bullet points, and market it like it’s almond butter (which, to be fair, does solve most problems). It doesn’t work that way.

The way I see it, creatives are constantly told to niche down, clarify their offer, define their ideal audience, and chase pain points… but it never really sticks. Not because it’s bad advice, but because it’s aimed at the wrong group.

This kind of solution-solves-problem thinking leaves no room for creative exploration — the very thing creative types thrive on. Instead, it pressures them into making work they don’t care about to solve someone else’s problems. A surefire way to burn out their creative fuel, if you ask me.

Because their work doesn’t claim to fix, optimise, or maximise anything, this type of advice doesn’t answer the actual burning question: How can creatives promote *cringe factor intensifies* their work… if they can’t explain what it does?

But the answer isn’t in the work itself, no matter how hard you look… and if you do find it, chances are you’ve fallen down the algorithm rabbit hole. It’s in the story that wraps around it.

People don’t immediately bond with products — especially ones that don’t come with a tidy list of features and benefits or make their lives better (like almond butter). They bond with meaning. They want to feel something, see themselves in something, believe in something.

Well, I’m here to both yap about creative work and why it’s important you keep making it… and help creative types shape and share their story. Because it’s your story that carries your creative vision into the minds and hearts of the people meant to experience it.

No matter where you are in the process (we all love a hero’s journey) you can create emotional resonance as you go. And you must. Because for stories to open doors, connect creatives with their tribes, and help them monetise their creativity, they first need to be seen, read, and heard.

This studio is for those ready to start growing in public. There are plenty of agencies for the polished and established. I built this one for the messy middle. For the in-between. For you.

how can I help?

  • writing services

I don’t love staring at a blank page either. Copywriting, creative writing, ghostwriting — you name it. I help you find the words that tell your story and sound like you. First, I get to know who you are. Then I shape a message that connects, inspires, and feels true to your voice. In other words: clarity with personality.

  • visual storytelling

When you’re ready, my team and I help you create visual content that truly brings your personal brand to life. From aesthetic b-rolls to simple, intentional brand shoots, we’ve got you. The result? Content that feels alive, captures your energy, and shows the world exactly who you are… becoming.

  • brand strategy

I work with you to build your brand story, tone of voice, and content direction, so you can show up with confidence and consistency. Whether you’re starting a personal brand from scratch or refining an existing one, I make sure the creative and the strategic are aligned — and that your content calendar stays nice and full.

Anca, founder of Intensify It Studio, sits at her desk in front of a green typewriter, holding a cute puppy.

ciao, amici!

I’m Anca — writer, journalist, and founder of this space. Intensify It Studio began as my way of reconnecting with creativity and has grown into a social-first creative studio where, together with a talented team (hi there frenz!), I make content and help other creatives shape and share their story and build a meaningful online presence.

With an NCTJ-accredited BA in Journalism with Media Studies and an MA in Marketing from the University of Portsmouth, I’ve spent the past decade in editorial and marketing roles across tech, travel, and trade & academic publishing, as well as agency life — in London, Bologna, and remotely.

Those experiences, along with writing and publishing three fiction books, taught me how creativity works in the real world. But over time, they stopped feeling like… me. So here I am, forging a new path and growing in public, like all the cool kids these days. Talk about creative courage, right? We’re in this together, friends.

Plus, as a dual Romanian–British creative now based in Italy, I understand how to create content that resonates with international audiences, capturing nuance, tone, and cultural context. (That or I’m pretty good at navigating situations where someone knows what they want to say, but the words just won’t land, because of language barriers or otherwise.)

Intensify It Studio is where all my experience meets purpose, and I’m excited about both growing this creative experiment and helping others tell their story, honour their creative side, and go from the fear of being cringe to… well, feeling the fear and doing it anyway. (There’s no magic fix. I’ve looked.)

If that sounds like your kind of energy, you’re in the right place!

client love (my favourite section)

  • Eglė Pačebutaitė // YAROOMS

I’ve worked with Anca for over 3 years, and she’s been a constant in the best way possible. Every piece she’s delivered has been on brief, on point, and always, always on time. That kind of reliability is rare, and I deeply appreciate it. She’s the kind of content partner you never have to second-guess. Her writing is thoughtful, never overdone, and always shaped by a strong understanding of audience and intent. If you get the chance to work with Anca, take it. You’ll wonder how you ever managed without her.

  • Oana-Corina Jelea // JOC Studio

Anca is the incredibly creative content marketer that everyone wants to work with. I would characterize her as an ambitious, driven and well-rounded professional. You can count on her to deliver that perfect piece of content. Anca always suggests innovative solutions to problems while keeping the most positive attitude. Her energy is absolutely contagious! I always found Anca very dependable. When working on the same projects, I could always trust her to make sure things she was in charge of were running smoothly. Anca’s copywriting experience and marketing knowledge are valuable assets to help grow the successes of any organization she’s a part of.

  • Octavia Drexler // 123FormBuilder

Anca is ridiculously creative and smart. No, really, she is. She can whip up creativity in the dullest of topics and do it with such elegance that it makes you wonder if she’s even human or some sort of linguistic demi-goddess. She’s also kind, funny, committed, and she truly understands the value of what she has to offer to a company, as well as the value of inbound marketing, well-chosen words, and good directions coming together for a smooth result. I am 100% certain Anca will do great going onwards, as she has all the skills and personality characteristics needed to make it. Go, go, Anca! I’m rooting for you (and definitely stalking your work too!)

  • Miljo Dragutinovic // Termly

Anca was a pleasure to work with. She is a great writer, very diligent, and a great communicator. I would recommend her services to anyone.

  • James Baker // The Collinson Group

Anca is a fantastic content copywriter. During her time working with me, she was responsible for creating content for a very large and highly engaged audience. She performed the role with very positive outcomes and produced content that our Members thoroughly enjoyed reading!

  • Raoul Keil // Editor-in-Chief Schön! Magazine

During her time with us at Schön! Magazine we found Anca to be a dedicated contributor to the magazine, confident and good in her research, writing and supporting skills. All tasks given, Anca managed with innovative creativity.
